The First Steps Towards Equine-Assisted Therapy for Individuals with Disabilities Have Been Taken at Balıkesir University.

The first meeting for the Equine-Assisted Therapy Project for individuals with disabilities was held under the auspices of Balıkesir University, in collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Down Syndrome Studies Application and Research Center.
Our project partners and stakeholders — the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, the Balıkesir Branch of the Association for the Disabled, and OBİDEV — also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, participants shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the stages of the project, and goals and plans were established accordingly.
