Special Mother’s Day Breakfast Event Held at Balıkesir University for Mothers of Individuals with Down Syndrome and Disabilities
As part of the March 8 International Women’s Day events, the Balıkesir University (BAÜN) Down Syndrome Studies Application and Research Center organized a special breakfast event for mothers of individuals with Down syndrome and disabilities.
The event was held in collaboration with the Balıkesir Branch of the Turkish Association for the Disabled.
The breakfast took place on Friday, March 8, at the Central Cafeteria of the Çağış Campus. BAÜN Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl attended the program and personally congratulated the special mothers on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
In her speech, Prof. Dr. Sibel Karaca Sivrikaya, Director of the Down Syndrome Studies Application and Research Center, expressed her gratitude to Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl for his participation and support, as well as to Mr. Zeki Uslu, President of the Balıkesir Branch of the Turkish Association for the Disabled, for their valuable collaboration.
The program concluded with a commemorative group photo session.
